BBI Drinks Competition 2015
This year's BBI competition was another resounding success according to BBI President, Ed Binsted. "With 25% more entrants than last time, all the judges commented that the standard and quality of all the entries was higher than last time, proving again that the UK and International Brewers, Cider Makers, Soft Drinks and Water bottlers are extremely good at what they do."
"With more companies entering this year the competition classes were therefore bigger so the achievements of the winners should be commended. The competition this year had an increased number of entries in the IPA, Cider, flavoured ciders and beers categories with all of the entrants scoring well."
Following the blind tasting the Packaging Classes for Ales, Ciders, Soft Drinks and Waters were judged. There were many excellent new designs that demonstrate again the design flair of glass bottle and label designs which were particularly eye-catching.
The medals and certificates will be presented at the annual BBI dinner being held on Thursday 22nd October at The Vintnersí Hall in London.

The BBI has been running its annual competitions since 1953 and year upon year is always impressed by the quality of the drinks entered. With categories recognising the best of Ales, Lagers, Ciders, Soft Drinks and Waters it presents a welcoming challenge for the judges in deciding winners and those due significant merit for quality.
